ADMISSIONS To attend SE School for Career Development's courses complete the form at the bottom of the page. A high school diploma or GED is not required to enroll in SE School for Career Development's programs. Go to Programs/Courses to see the programs to choose from. On-Site and On-Line classes are available. Check the course description for details. Business/companies must contact SESCD for advance payment approval. You must be 18 years of age or older to attend classes and a U.S. Citizen. Government agencies may pay for classes. Contact your government agency for approval for payment of classes. If unable to pay for a program in full, ask about our pay per module program. Restrictions Apply. You need to register for classes ten days before classes start. COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS FOR ON-LINE CLASSES PC (IBM Compatible Computer) Pentium II (233 MHz minimum, higher recommended) Pentium II (233 or greater processor) Speakers or Sound Device 512 MB Ram, 4 Gig Hard Drive Mouse or compatible pointing device 56 kbps Modem or High Speed Internet connection (High Speed recommended) Monitor set to 800 x 600 resolution (1024 x 768 recommended) CD-Rom 2X or Faster Internet Explorer (web browsing software) - 5.5 or higher Windows 2000 or Windows XP Operating System. One Floppy Drive or CD-Rom Drive. Printer to print out grades and transcripts of complete chapters, recommended. Some courses may require the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to complete some assignments. If you do not have these programs, we recommend Open Office.org. Check your virus protection, spam blocking, and security fire wall programs to make sure they do not block you from entering SESCD's web site. If you can go into SESCD's web site you can enter the on-line class room with no problems with your confidential private security name and password provided for enrolled students. If any one is having problems with their ISP, Internet, Email, Computer, Hardware, Software or other electronic devices we recommend they contact their computer or electric repair shop or Internet Service Provider for help. Some computer and Windows knowledge is needed for on-line classes. Windows Vista Software programs are not compatible with some programs. Check your computer repair, support, or software support provider for Vista compatibilities. Some of these features may not be needed for on-line classes, requirements can vary per class.
