ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS There are no requirements to attend most of SESCD's classes. For most certified programs you do not need a high school diploma or GED, although some experience may be necessary. Prerequisites: In some cases, computer knowledge, basic Windows skills, some typing skills, word processing knowledge, and Medical Terminology, Anatomy, & Physiology may be needed for some programs. Check the course description for details. Business/companies must contact SESCD for advance payment approval. You must be 18 years or older to attend classes and a U.S. Citizen. Contact your government agency for approval for payment on classes. Call about payment plans, pay as you learn, pay per module, and other pay options. If unable to pay for a program in full, ask about our pay per module program. Restrictions Apply. Check the program of your choice for perquisites. You need to register for classes ten days before classes start. On-Site and On-Line Classes are offered. Call for class dates for on-site classes. |

REGISTERING FOR ON-SITE CLASSES Call for an appointment to register for classes. You can pay by cash, bank or U.S. Postal money order, bank cashiers check, or Master Card, Visa, or Discover Credit Card. Make bank or U.S. Postal money orders or bank cashiers check out to SE School for Career Development. Financial loans may be available for those who qualify. Contact Us for payment options. See if you qualify for the pay per module plan. An administrative fee may apply. Fill out the contact form below for more information or to register for classes. Tuition Fees, books, and all materials must be paid for before classes can start. You must register 10 days before classes start. There is a ten business day wait period for payment approval. COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS FOR ON-LINE CLASSES PC (IBM Compatible Computer) Pentium II (233 MHz minimum, higher recommended) Pentium II (233 or greater processor) Speakers or Sound Device 512 MB Ram, 4 Gig Hard Drive Mouse or compatible pointing device 56 kbps Modem or High Speed Internet connection (High Speed recommended) Monitor set to 800 x 600 resolution (1024 x 768 recommended) CD-Rom 2X or Faster Internet Explorer (web browsing software) - 5.5 or higher Windows 2000 or Windows XP Operating System. One Floppy Drive or CD-Rom Drive. Printer to print out grades and transcripts of complete chapters, recommended. Some courses may require the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to complete some assignments. If you do not have these programs, we recommend Open Office.org. Adobe Shockwave Flash Player Quicktime Movie Player Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 RealOne Player, version 2 Macromedia Flash Player 7 Check with America Online Web Browser for compatibilities, is not recommended Confidential Personal working E-mail address and working Internet Service Provider is required for on-line classes . Check your virus protection, spam blocking, and security fire wall programs to make sure they do not block you from entering SESCD's web site. If you can go into SESCD's web site you can enter the on-line class room with no problems with your confidential private security name and password provided for enrolled students. SE School for Career Development is not a computer/ technical/ or electronic repair shop and does not provide ISP, Internet, Email, Computer, Printer, Hardware, Software or Electronic repair or services in any way. If any one is having problems with their ISP, Internet, Email, Computer, Hardware, Software or other electronic devices we recommend they contact their computer or electric repair shop or Internet Service Provider for help. Some computer and Windows knowledge is needed for on-line classes. Windows Vista Software programs are not compatible with some programs. Check your computer repair, support, or software support provider for Vista compatibilities. Some of these features may not be needed for on-line classes, requirements can vary per class.
